The charity supporting cadets in schools
The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) supports schools to run strong CCF units. Membership is free to contingents and provides access to grants and funding, awards, insurance, resources, and more.
CCFA helps strengthen the CCF community through advocacy, funding and practical support.
We work with schools, volunteers and national partners to help CCF contingents access the support they need.
As the charity for the Combined Cadet Force, CCFA represents CCF contingents and provides a national forum for members.
We offer practical services including insurance, legal advice, grants and wellbeing support for adult volunteers.
We also recognise the achievements of cadets and volunteers through our awards programme.

I have made friends… grown as a cadet and experienced things that if not for the funding I would not have been able to do or participate in.”

I tried paddleboarding for the first time and absolutely loved it, as well as improving my dinghy sailing skills through lots of practice on the water… Thank you for giving me the opportunity to have such an enjoyable and valuable experience that I would not otherwise have been able to have.”

The sailing trip… was a huge challenge, but it taught me that I am capable of so much more than I thought. Thank you for giving us such an amazing opportunity. It’s an experience that I will never forget!”

The [DofE] equipment made everyone feel like they had the same opportunity regardless of what they owned at home. It made the expedition feel more professional and gave me much more confidence during both training and the assessed expedition.”
